Welcome to the first (preliminary) version of the NODES wiki. This wiki has been set up to support work of the Network On DEpendable System (NODES), a nordic network of excellence funded by NordForsk.
This wiki is a preliminary version, which is primarily intended to demonstrate some of the facilities that the underlying system supports. We expect that the final version of this wiki will have a very different organization and form than the current version. Please help us make this wiki your own.
The current version only has one instance of each of the types of tools that the XWiki engine offers: wiki pages, calendar and a blog. It is expected that several instances of each tool will be useful as sub-committees and working groups are set up to focus on different tasks and topics. As mentioned above, this final organization of the NODES wiki will depend on the way we wish to organize our work and whether we wish to explore the possibility of using the XWiki platform for external dissemination of our work.
TIP: NODES is a protected space for NODES internal activities.
This wiki consists of multiple spaces and each of space has it's own access rights. Also, you can specify access rights at page level. By default, access rights are divided in three groups: Admin, NODES and Public. The users of Admin group are responsible to maintain this wiki on the server, however, actual contents and design evolve as a result of collaboration among wiki users. NODES group consists of core network members. Default access rights are as follows.

About XWiki
What features this wiki offers?
WYSIWYG Editor sometimes behave strange, particulary in the case of imported pages from other versions of XWiki. To mitigate the problem, please follow following tips.
(1) In WYSIWYG editor, don't paste weblinks directly, as it could make page editing unstable . Instead, use "Link" button for this purpose.
(2) Try to avoid sophisticated bullets/numbering.
If problem persists, switch to Wiki Editing mode.
