NODES Workshop 2010
With our growing reliance on software, the total societal costs of its failure are hard to underestimate. Software is in the heart of many critical infrastructures such as transportation, avionics, energy production, telecommunications, healthcare, finances etc. Dependability is a degree of reliance, which we can justifiably put on software-intensive systems. Dependability encompasses such system characteristics as safety, reliability, availability, security etc. NODES 10 aims at providing a forum for researchers and practitioners interested in different aspects of dependability and security to exchange ideas and current research results.
We invite research experience reports as well as position papers. Within the workshop we also organize a doctoral symposium session to provide doctoral students with the opportunity to present their ongoing research work.
